Gift Planning Consultant Profile
Covenant Calls has demonstrated the ability to do what many non-profits organizations often cannot – due to competing demands on their time and resources. Using lists of qualified donors who have expressed interested in bequest gifts, Covenant Calls assigns skilled Gift Planning Consultants to the critical tasks of closing commitments and stewarding donors.
Like our Donor Relationship Managers, all Covenant Calls Gift Planning Consultants are thoroughly trained to ensure they represent the image and values of the organization and conduct all calls with expertise and professionalism.
Our Gift Planning Consultants receive extensive training and coaching in estate planning and bequest giving to ensure that the contacts they make on behalf of our non-profit and charitable clients are personal, professional, sensitive, and a credit to the organization. Each consultant has been trained to meet the standards and ethics of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning (PPP), as well as all applicable federal and state regulations.
In the Covenant Calls recruiting profile for Gift Planning Consultants, we seek mature individuals (ages 35-60+) who are intelligent, articulate speakers; attentive and respectful listeners; patient and perceptive; and skilled at capturing meaningful notes. They have the proven ability to close commitments and follow-up with meaningful stewardship contacts.
